GDPR Compliance Update

As of 25 May 2018, we are aligning with the European Union's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We've updated our privacy policy to provide you with more information on how we protect your privacy, including information on how to exercise your rights to your data.

Healthcare Records

When we receive a referral from your doctor, or interact with you via another approach, we create a healthcare record for you. A healthcare record refers to all information collected, processed and held both in manual and electronic formats concerning you and your care. It includes:

  • Financial records (excluding card/bank details)

Data Security

We employ enterprise-level data security practices:

  • Password-protected electronic medical records
  • Local and network firewalls
  • Secure storage of paper files
  • Limited data collection policy

Data Sharing

We may share your data with third parties in the following scenarios:

  • Reporting to your GP or referring doctor
  • Referrals for tests or investigations
  • Referrals to other medical consultants
  • Billing purposes with relevant companies
  • Insurance claims and pre-approvals

Your Rights

  • Right to access your data
  • Right to have errors corrected
  • Right to have your record deleted (in certain circumstances)
  • Right to file a complaint
